    
 
This tutorial was written on March 24, 2003 using PSP 7.04 It is completely my own imagination and ideas. You will need the following: You can download a trial copy of Paint Shop Pro 7.04 here You can get my mask and the bead graphic HERE and unzip it to your mask folder. You will need the Toadies Filters, you can get them HERE.I used Fantastic Machine Paint Engine to create the texture and you can download it HERE.You need something to create a seamless tile. I used Simple FiltersYou will need a graphic of your choiceNow lets get started.
Open a new image. Width= 150 Height= 150 Background Transparent Resolution 72.000 16.7 Million Colors Select a color from your image and floodfill your new canvas. Go to Fantastic Machines > Paint Engine and play with the settings till you find one you like, and apply.Set your texture as the foreground pattern.Activate your chosen graphic and add a new raster layer and flood fill with the pattern. Go to masks > Load from disk. Go to mask > delete, and answer yes.Add a drop shadow with the following settings. Vertical and Horizontal = 0, Opacity = 50, blur = 5.6, color = a dark shade of your color. Set your background color to white and the pattern to gold beads Set your foreground color to the color you chose before. Go to Image > Add Borders and add a border of 3 pixels Select the border and flood fill with the bead pattern. Invert and add a new Raster Layer Apply a cutout with the settings Horizontal and Vertical = 0, Opacity = 50, Blur = 15, Color = Black. Go to Image > Add Borders and add a border of 10 pixels Select the border and flood fill with the foreground color. Go to Effects > Plugin-filters > Graphics Plus > Cross Shadow Deselect Go to Image > Add Borders and add a border of 3 pixels Select the border and flood fill with the bead pattern. Deselect Set your foreground pattern to your texture. Go to Image > Add Borders and add a border of 20 pixels Select the border and flood fill with the foreground pattern. Go to Effects > Plugin-filters > Toadies > Blast em Deselect Go to Image > Add Borders and add a border of 3 pixels Select the border and flood fill with the bead pattern. Invert and add a new Raster Layer Apply a cutout with the settings Horizontal and Vertical = 0, Opacity = 50, Blur = 10, Color = Black. Deselect
