  
 
This tutorial was written between September 29th and October 28th, 2002 using PSP 7.04. You can download a trial copy here
My Zip Folder with stained glass tiles. Open these in your Paint Shop Pro Program and minimize them. This also contains a Stained Glass Font You can just open this and minimize it, PSP will pick it up when you need it, you do not have to install it in your windows font folder. I keep a folder of extra fonts and open what I need. Super Blade Pro You can downdoad a trial copy here. 
Now lets get started.
Open a new image. Width= 500 Height= 500 Background Transparent Resolution 72.000 16.7 Million Colors Add a new Raster Layer and name it Stained Glass Click on your Preset Shapes Tool Shape is Elipse Line Width is 2 Vector is checked Antialias is checked Set Forground color to white (#FFFFFF) Set Background color to Nil
Holding down the Shift Key, draw out a small circle, this is the very end of the corucopia. You can adjust the size of the circle by pushing or pulling on one of the corner squares When you are happy with the size of your circle, Go to Layers > Convert to Raster Layer Go to Selections > Select All Go to Selections > Float Go to Selections > modify > feather > by 1 Apply the Blade Pro Preset Gold Basic (you can also use Effects > texture effects > Sculpture > Gold Preset Deselect With your magic wand, click inside the circle Go to selections > modify > expand by 1 Keeping it selected, Activate the layer named stained glass Set your style box to pattern and select the brown stained glass. Flood fill selection with pattern. Hide layer 1 and go to layers > merge > merge visible Activate the top layer you just merged and add a new raster layer and name it stained glass. Select your shapes tool with the same settings. Holding down your shift key, draw out a circle just a little larger than the last circle. When you are happy with the size, convert to a raster layer. Go to Selections > Select All Go to Selections > Float Go to selections > Modify > Expand by 1 Apply your blade pro preset (or your Jaac Gold sculpture preset
) With your magic wand, select the center of the ring Go to Selections > Modify > Expand by 1 Activate Stained Glass Layer and flood fill with Brown Stained Glass Hide Layer 1 and first circle and Go to Layers > Merge > Merge Visible Repeat the Last ring and glass layers as many times as you wish until your cornucopia is the size you want. Each new ring is larger than the last one. You begin the new ring with the last ring layer active. Arrange the layers so they overlap and form a curving horn. Check the graphic sample at the top of the page for placement.Activate the top layer, add a new raster layer and name it stained glass Select your preset shapes tool with the same settings Holding down the shift key, draw out a circle within the largest circle, leaving a border of the brown stained glass all around. Convert to raster layer Go to Selections > Select all Go to Selections > Float Go to Selections > Modify > Feather by 1 Apply the same Super Blade Pro Preset (or the Gold Sculpture preset). With your magic wand, click inside the ring Go to Selections > Modify > Expand by 1 Keep selected and activate your Stained Glass layer. Change your Pattern fill to Black Stained Glass Flood fill your selections with Black Stained GlassHide all layers but your top two. Go to Layers > Merge > Merge Visible Make sure the black layer is centered on your Cornucopia. Go to Layers > Merge > Merge Visible Export as a picture Tube
We have completed the basic Cornucopia. Now on to creating the Harvest bounty to fill it.
