 
Still in node edit, add a new node between the second and third existing nodes and then with your mouse pull it down until it is directly under the second node. It should look like this.
Then add another node between the new node and the third node and pull it down directly under node three and even with the new node. It should look like this
Repeat this process across the rectangle - between the fourth and fifth nodes - between the sixth and seventh nodes. When you are done, this is what it will look like Now to save time and frustration later, export this as a shape. First click on your layer pallette and click on the + sign beside your vector layer. Then left click on the rectangle layer and choose rename - I named mine parapet. click out of the layer pallette and go to file > export > shape enter your name again and click OK now it is part of your shape library and you won't have to vector this shape again. Go to Layers > Convert to rasterGo to Select > Select All Go to Selections > Float Set Foreground color to #808080 Set Foreground Texture to Small Bricks. Flood fill the selection Go to Effects > 3D Effects > Inner Bevel and add the Soft Edge Preset Deselect Add a drop shadow: Vertical=6 Horizontal=0 Opacity=100 Blur=2.5 Go to Layers > Merge > Merge Visible Save Add a new Raster layerSet your forground to the spatch pattern Choose your selection tool, rectangle, Feather=0 draw a tall narrow rectangle to one side of your center block like this.
